Acrobatic Dance, or Acro, is a dynamic fusion of classical dance technique with the strength, precision, and athleticism of acrobatic movements.
Acro is often recognised for its unique choreography, where dancers seamlessly blend musicality, emotional expression, clean lines, and extension with impressive acrobatic skills—all within a dance context.
This style is especially challenging, as it requires training in both dance and acrobatic techniques. Acro training includes balancing, limbering, tumbling, and partnering, built on foundations of flexibility, contortion, and strength.
