Creative Dance is suitable for children aged 2.5-5 years old. During the class we dance, sing, use lots of props and sometimes dress up. We move to nursery rhymes, classical, Disney and pop music. The class is designed to be enjoyable and the emphasis is FUN!
Creative Tap is all of the above. Within this class they learn the basic tap steps, rhythms and sounds but with the added bonus of wearing tap shoes and making lots of noise!

Pre-Juvenile group award (Beginners Ballet) teaches young children basic movement to music and skills such as clapping, walking, skipping, running and a dancing story. Our classes are available for students aged 4+.
Pre-Juvenile ballet is all about self-awareness, it offers a structured progression in dance skills and helps develop children's bodies and brain. It is a wonderful way for children to meet friends, have fun, and become more confident.
The Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) is one of the world's most influential dance education and training organisations. Our classes are available for students aged 5 up to the mature adult dancer. We teach from Pre-Primary Ballet through to the Higher Grades of six, seven and eight, which are recognised by Ofqual and contribute to UCAS points. Ballet teaches aspiring dancers discipline and focuses on the expression, joy of dancing and technique.
There are many health benefits of Ballet classes not only is it great exercise but it increases endurance, assists stamina, benefits strength and flexibility, develops correct posture and improves balance and coordination.
We encourage students to enter for the RAD examinations which often gives students a sense of pride and accomplishment in their dancing increasing confidence and self-esteem.

Tap dance uses the sound of a metal tap that is on dancers shoes heel and toe to 'make its music' . Our Tap dance classes are available for students aged 4 up to the mature adult dancer. Tap dancing is a wonderful creative subject and not to mention you are able to make lots of noise! After learning the basic routines, Tap dancers are free to find their own rhythms as the grades progress.
Tap dancing can be used to help dancers express themselves which is incredible for improving emotional health and building self confidence.
Tap dance improves balance, coordination and core control. Tap steps are complex and often very detailed and learning the steps is great exercise for your brain. Attending Tap classes combines the love of dance, music, rhythm and performance and teaches dancers about choreography, improvisation and syncopation.
Theatre Craft develops a versatile show dancer and performer. It varies in styles including; Musical Theatre, Pantomime, Cabaret and Commercial Dance. Essential elements including kicks, turns and rhythmic awareness are all explored. The use of props, accessories and music styles sees our dancers take to the stage with confidence and style. Theatre Craft prepares the body physically through exercise and stimulating routines, dance movement, improvisation and interpretation of music.
Our Theatre Craft classes are available for students aged 4 up to the mature adult dancer. From Grade 3 upwards the dancers start to learn the technique of heel work, training the body to distribute weight whilst dancing in heels with style and elegance. Attending Theatre craft classes is great for confidence building.
Musical Theatre is the combination of music (singing), acting and dancing and performers in this genre are commonly referred to as 'triple threats'. Musical Theatre helps dancers to develop their sense of self and identity, by simply allowing them to be expressive and creative in a safe environment. A fusion of all modern music and dance styles, Musical Theatre takes you to inspirational heights.
Attending Musical Theatre classes improves confidence and brings students out of their shells. Students often discover a hidden talent for singing, acting and dancing that they were not aware of. Musical Theatre allows students to be creative and express themselves with different groups of students. Musical Theatre is a great release for students as the main aim is for the students to have fun, creating a positive and inspiring environment.
Acrobatic Dance (Acro) is the fusion of classic dance technique and the precision and athleticism of acrobatic elements. Often defined by unique choreography, acro dancers seamlessly blend musicality, emotional expression, line and extension with acrobatic movements in a dance context.
Acro is an especially challenging style for dancers to master as training in both dance and acrobatic elements is required. Acro technique includes balancing, limbering, tumbling and partnering, based in flexibility, contortion and strength.
Dancers who train through Acrobatic Arts have balanced development, are stronger, more flexible and fearless. Acro dancing can be used to help dancers express themselves which is great for improving emotional health and building self confidence.
DDMIX is a full body aerobic workout based on a wide range of different dance styles with easy to follow steps. Choreographed by Darcey Bussell and Nathan Clarke, each genre is approximately 2.5 minutes long.
The aim of DDMIX is to get people moving without being intimidated by the word ‘dance’ or the technicality of the steps, but instead to give a full body workout that is such fun that you don’t even notice that you are exercising. With the vast number of dance styles around the world to choose from, no one will ever get bored!
