Our Tap dance classes welcome students from age 4 through to mature adults, offering a fun and creative way to move to the beat.
Tap dance creates music through the metal taps on the heels and toes of dancers’ shoes—meaning every step makes a sound! After mastering basic routines, dancers get the exciting opportunity to explore their own rhythms as they progress through the grades.
Tap is a fantastic form of self-expression that can boost emotional health and build self-confidence. It also improves balance, coordination, and core strength. The complex, detailed steps challenge the brain as well as the body, making tap a great mental workout.
In our Tap classes, dancers combine their love of dance, music, rhythm, and performance while learning important skills such as choreography, improvisation, and syncopation.
