Theatre Craft classes are open to students aged 4 through to mature adults.
Theatre Craft helps develop versatile show dancers and performers, exploring a variety of styles including Musical Theatre, Pantomime, Cabaret, and Commercial Dance.
Our classes focus on essential elements like kicks, turns, and rhythmic awareness. Using props, accessories, and a wide range of music styles, dancers learn to take the stage with confidence and flair.
Physically, Theatre Craft prepares the body through exercise, stimulating routines, dance movement, improvisation, and musical interpretation.
From Grade 3 onwards, dancers begin learning the technique of heel work—training the body to distribute weight gracefully and dance with style and elegance in heels.
Theatre Craft is not only great fun but also fantastic for building confidence and stage presence.
The Kicks, Turns, Leaps & Jumps class is included as part of the Theatre Craft syllabus. Any student studying Grade 1 Theatre Craft and above will automatically be enrolled in this class.
This class focuses on developing dancers’ strength, flexibility, technique, and musical interpretation. The ultimate goal is for dancers to perform a series of challenging kicks, turns, leaps, and jump combinations with precision and safety.
